Comments
When children are this engaged making good candid photos is about as easy as chewing gum. This photo was taken late in the day at a campground full of families and their children. Campgrounds are very good locations for candid children photos though the politics can be tricky. Never ask permission from the campground management; they've got nothing to gain and lots to lose by granting it. Rather, stroll around and casually ask individuals for permission to "take a picture". Of course, always always ask children's parents for permission.
The man straining mightily on the far left is very prominent in this photo. If you want to draw attention to something in a picture, place it on an edge, like this.
