Technical data: Photo taken with Nikon SLR film camera and Nikkor 85mm f1.8 lens; hand held, available light. Approximate exposure 1/500 second at f8 - Fuji Sensia 200 color transparency film processed normally. No lens filters were used. Film was scanned using a Minolta Dimage series film scanner. Photo file was routinely optimized with Photoshop on a Mac.

Comments: I like the graphic quality of this picture even though a small puff of fill-flash would have helped. I hadn't noticed that the light had changed which is a very easy mistake to make.

This young girl was a breeze to photograph once I banished her mother from the area, a practice I highly recommend. Parents will only complicate and interfere with the natural photographic flow of things. I know, I'm a parent myself. We can't help it.  HC
